This is a recipe from my childhood that conjures up warm feelings associated with holidays. Plus, who could complain when Mom baked a pie for breakfast to make the holiday start on the right foot. We continue to celebrate the holiday breakfast tradition with this easy to prepare recipe that satisfies the entire family and leaves plenty of time for cooking the main meal and spending time with family.
