8-Layer Fiesta Dip

Makes 8-inch square pan (10-12 servings) Truly, the only credit I can take for this recipe is the good sense to bring it to summer parties! Oh, and the addition of sliced black olives that make it an 8-Layer dip! I usually double the recipe and prepare in a casserole dish. 

1 3/4 C Refried beans 
1 pkg Taco seasoning mix 
1 C Sour cream 
1 C Guacamole 
1 C Shredded cheese: cheddar, Mexican blend, or cheddar with taco seasoning (if you can find it) 
1 C Chunky salsa 
1/2 C (4 oz. can) Diced green chiles 
1/3 C (2 large) sliced green onions 
1/2 C (4 oz. can) Sliced black olives 
Tortilla chips 

Combine refried beans and seasoning mix in a small bowl. Spread mixture in dish. Top with sour cream, guacamole, cheese, salsa, chiles, green onions and black olives. Serve with chips.
